Trailhead Park Lofts is a vibrant infill project redefining small-scale urban living in Santa Fe’s Baca Railyard District. Designed and built by Trailhead Design Source, this trio of lofts balances contemporary elegance with efficient use of space. With 608 square feet of heated area, double-height ceilings, large upstairs balconies, and ground-level terraces, each unit maximizes light, air, and connection to views. Crafted with care, the homes feature large-format porcelain tile, white oak flooring, custom millwork, and Energy Star–certified Bosch appliances. Outside, locally quarried stone elements complement Japanese shou sugi ban wood siding and copper cladding, ensuring long-lasting, low-maintenance performance. The complete project features front and back green areas and a shared “parking park” that merges utility and landscape in a courtyard-like setting. This infill will enhance the streetscape with more than 20 newly planted trees on the previously vacant lot. This project celebrates local materials, walkability, and cultural continuity, offering a new model for Santa Fe’s evolving housing needs.
